Happy Anzac weekend everyone! Last night I made some Anzac cookies for dessert. This is theLINK to the recipe I used! I chose this recipe because I've used this one before, and the biscuits turn out chewy. Here's a photo!
What recipe do you use to make your Anzac cookies?
Kia ora Leilani, those cookies look delicious! I like the way you were Cybersmart by including the link to where you found the recipe instead of copying and pasting it. I'm vegan so I don't eat butter but I'm sure I could follow your recipe and use coconut oil instead of the butter. Do you think that will work?
Hi Phil, yes they were very delicious! You don't know until you try, so maybe you could make some your self with coconut oil or you can search it up on Google. Hope you find the recipe! Leilani.
Hi Neena! Thanks for commenting. They taste better than they look! I'ts funny because I made Anzac cookies about 1 week before that. But I didn't take a photo of that batch, so I had to make another batch! Blog ya later. LANI
Hi Lani. Wow these do look delicious! These would not have lasted long in my house. Why did the wives cook Anzac biscuits for the soldiers? Did they use the same recipe as you? What other baking have you done during lock down?
Hi Nicole! Your house must be exactly like mine! I made them at night, about 20 of them. I come back in the morning and they're all gone! I think that the wives cooked them these biscuits for some snacks, I have also learnt that it were these biscuits because they last for a long time. No they did not use the same recipe.
1. Because the recipe I used probably came out like 2 years ago. 2. Because they didn't have most of the ingredients that i used.
Some other baking that my family house hold has made is...
Cinnamon rolls (the ones in LA are the best) Anzac biscuits Banana cake Passion Fruit cake Rocky Road Chocolate chip cookies Brownies Pancakes
I have been busy making many things. Cinnamon rolls, cheesymite scrolls (tasted like Bakers Delight ones!), afghans, oat and raisin biscuits and some lovely fresh bread. These are just a few things I have made. It is amazing how much more time I have to cook in the kitchen.I am also going to enter the bake off! Are you going to do the bake off also?
