Why is one explorer more famous than the other?

For the past 3 weeks we have been learning about explorers.
Sir Edmund Hillary, Sir Ernest Shackleton and Jean Batten.

I had to write a slide about who is the most famous out of those three explorers. Here are my slides!

    Ka pai Leilani. I like the way you gave each one a percentage score. I think Edmund Hillary is the most famous for me too. Why do you think more people know him compared to the other two and many other explorers?

      Hi Phil, Leilani here. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
      I think more people know him because he was the first person to climb MT Everest in the WORLD! Jean Batten was the first woman in NZ to do those flights. Some other woman accomplished it before her.

    I like how you have a clear introduction to your blog, telling us what you have been learning about and who we will see in your slides.
    Sir Edmund Hillary is the most famous person for me. He is on our five-dollar note so that helps to keep him in my mind!

      Who do you think is more famous out of Jean Batten and Ernest Shackleton?
      I think Jean Batten because Jean Batten is from NZ so I know more about her.
