Isolation, Writing task

This story is another writing task that we got to write about. This writing isn't about what's happening right now, it's just the name of the picture.

It is one misty morning, in the middle of the Malering River. Standing on her porch, Ashley drew breath. As the clean, cool air filled her lungs, a smile spread across her face, as she happily took a sip of her hot cup of goodness. Slightly, the sun peaks through the mist, when it hits high above the horizon. Ashley looked down at her reflection in the tranquil water, that is still as a statue, and thought “how did I get here?”. Then she goes and makes her another cup of coffee.

The solitary brick house is a one bedroom and a small kitchen home. Ashley can’t go anywhere because dangerous ominous sharks that surround her house 24/7! Poor Ashley can’t swim either, so she’s like a marker, and the house is like paper, she is permanently stuck there!

During the day, Ashley cleans her cramped little house and watches tv (that is very slow because of the internet). She also likes to sit on the edge of the rock that the house relaxes on like a bird on a tree branch. On the rock Ashley watches the hungry sharks ferociously circle around her abandoned home.
Ashley has to take it easy with the food, because she can’t go shopping or anything! There is also nobody living on the islands on either side of the house. So for breakfast Ashley has a muesli bar, for lunch she has 1 apple, finally for dinner she has 2 different kinds of vegetables mixed together. Everyday!!

Can you Solve it?

Today in google hangouts Nicole showed us a new site called Hieroglyphic Typewriter . In it you write codes with lettering that the Ancient Egypt used. I made some codes for you to solve.
Can you solve them?

Just remember that the single leave sign can be a I or an E.
(The thing at the end of ever code is not part of the code.)

Were you able to solve them? BLOG YA LATER, ALLIGATOR!😁

Recycling art!

The aim of this task is to make some kind of art out of recycling. My recycled item was an old jar. With the jar I put some glitter and fairy lights in it. To make it a fairy light jar! MY brother bought the fairy lights from Kmart for a Christmas present! And so I put them in a jar this lock down then added some glitter. This is the finishing product!

This button is to turn the lights on and off

The outside of the jar

The inside with the lights on

What recycled item would you use to make a piece of art?  Have a good lock down🙋

Mountain Pass

Another one of my story's that I am proud of!

Curious of what the pathway leads to, the fearless man carefully steps onto the first step. Hoping not to slip on the ice polished rock staircase. Bracing himself against the torrent of icy wind that rushed towards him down the narrow pass, the lone figure prepared himself for the challenge ahead.

Halfway, the body of the man is already drained of exhaustion. So the guy  drowsily, perches himself on top of a rock. That awakens his heated body, with the coolness of frigid ice. The weary man slowly pulls his plastic water bottle out of his adventurous backpack.

Suddenly, when he is just about to take a sip, he starts to rock back and forth! He feels sick and dizzy like he just got hit by a frying pan!  The explorer, frighteningly collapses onto the steps. Thump! BUMP! WHACK! Painfully, he swiftly rolls down the steps! Hitting his head and body on the ominous rocks.

Quickly, the damaged and aching body was rushed to the nearest hospital. A couple of weeks later the man was safe and sound in his apartment. Thinking about that terrible experience, of spinning down that highly dangerous terrain.

HANG ON!

Here is a story that is one of my favorites! It is called "HANG ON!" As you can see from the title.

It’s one regular morning in NYC. The morning bird chirps
and cars are waking up the whole city with the BEEPS! and the
HONKS!
My classic weekly routine is… getting up, shower, get changed
(work clothes), lock up, ready to go, walk to my ordinary
Starbucks, get a coffee, then finally walk to the subway,
just in time for the train!

But today, it was a bit different in the subway.
I was patiently waiting for the train
( which was 10 minutes late) when I saw a photo shoot going
on. It was a photographer taking professional photos of this
stylish little boy. The little boy was standing so close to
where the trains stop, but some crazy people would almost die
for the perfect photo, am I right?

Then I saw it, the train speedily sprinting towards the boy.
Over concentrated, the boy couldn't even hear the thunde-ring train aiming right for him! It happened so quickly! One minute he was standing on the platform , the next he was hurtling through the air, hanging on for dear life.

I suddenly clicked and chased after him, reaching cautiously of where I stepped. The photographer was so shocked by what was happening that he just stood there like nothing serious was happening. I was just in time to hook onto the boy before the train rushed into the darkness of the tunnel. I asked the boy breathlessly “ are you ok?” He screeched “ NOT REALLY mam!” He then hurried out of the subway within more than at least a second!Very sarcastically, I said to myself,”Well, Your welcome”.

Life in a bubble

For this task, we had to create an alpha list from A-Z. I made a slide and each slide is rather one sentence or a word that describes how I am feeling during this lock down.

Whats one descriptive word to describe you this lock down?
