Flower Overload!

Today I did the first activity for the Summer Learning Journey Program. For the first activity I used Art Colouring Book(There is a link if you want to have a try)

I chose different colours for my art because I love pink and purple leaves, especially blossom trees that are pink.

Here is the photos of the original picture and mine.

Zones of Regulation Slides!

Hello bloggers! Thanks for checking out my blog today!

Today's blog post is about my zones of regulation slides, that Kauri team students has been working on.

These slides show what different emotions there are and what colour those zones are.

  • Happy-Green
  • Angry-Red
  • Silly, Scared, Disgusted-Yellow
  • Sad, tired-Blue

We also learnt about expected and unexpected behaviours.
To test what we had been learning, we watched a few short films from animated movies. We had to think about what the behaviour was going on in those films.

Here is the slides, I hope you like them and also enjoy.

(I didn't finish it all, but I did the main slides👍)

Thanks for looking at my slides today! Comment what your favourite emotion was, and what zone you are mostly always in.

Dark Vs Light! (Calendar Art)

Hey bloggers! Room 24 have been working hard on finishing their art lately. Our art is called one Point perspective art. One point perspective is where one thing goes to a vanishing point. This way of art makes the picture look more 3D and real. Here in my picture I did a triangle coming out from the middle of the page. My friend Neena did hers coming out towards you and mine you are looking into the distance.

Here is a photo of my friend's and my art!

I wanted to do a dark and sad side, and a colourful happy side.

Neena's art.

If you did this art, what way would you do it? Neena's or my way?
(I won't be offended)
This took me about 2 and a half weeks to complete. I hope you enjoyed it, and might try it!

Sick vs Healthy PT 8

Hello everyone. Today's blog post is another writing one. The picture for today is this:
These are my sick and healthy sentences! I hope that you like them.

Sick Sentences:
The big creature crawled out of the swamp. He had a big eye and scales on his big body.

Healthy Sentences:
Swiftly, the large sea creature swam towards shore. His scaly body was hidden in the nature green moss. As big as the sun, his eyes widened as he saw delicious food lying on the grassy terrain.
"OOOOOOO! Delicious!" He said hungrily. As fast as a blink of an eye, he gobbled it up whole, like what a normal enormous creature does.

I hope you enjoyed  my healthy sentences because this is probably one of the last blog posts for this lockdown. What was your favourite simile in the healthy sentences? Can you spot them? BLOG YA LATER!

Sick vs Healthy PT 7

HI!! Here is another sentence blog post! This time the picture is about a gigantic earth giant coming out of the underground.
Here is the picture and my sentences.

Sick sentences:
The big giant opened his mouth and yelled. His big head was a grey colour. He was really big and angry.

Healthy sentences:
Grumpy, the enormous stone giant awakened from the underground world, yawning as loud as a fierce lion roar. Like an earthquake, he stood up stretching, rumbling the streets of London. “HUMPH” He moans annoyed as he sleepy stomped towards the food bar.

Thanks for checking out my blog today bloggers!

Sick vs Healthy PT 6

Hello! Today's writing prompt is about this picture:
Here are my sick vs healthy sentences! I hope you enjoy them.

Sick sentences:
There was a house on a snail. The snail was big and twisty. It floated in space. There were lots of stars.

Healthy sentences:
Solemnly, a royal castle was perched onto the middle of the snails immense shell. There was all sorts of twists, little ones, medium ones and large ones that pattern the shell. Like a ghost, the snails shell hovered over the surface of the ominous planet. Trillions of luminous stars surrounded the planet with powerful light.

I thank you for checking out my blog today!
Can you spot the simile in my healthy sentences?

Sick vs Healthy PT 5!

YAY! Another writing post. Today's picture is this:
I hope that you enjoy my healthy sentences about this picture.
Here it is!

Sick Sentences:
The astronaut wore a suit. It was uncomfortable and warm. The astronaut walked on Mars.

Healthy Sentences:

Cautiously, the astronaut wandered through the architectural building that stands on the rock land of Mars. Drained, his hefty white suit ached his tired muscles. He was the boiling sun as sweat ran like rivers inside.

Thanks for reading part 4 of my healthy sentence blog posts.
What is your favourite planet? Is it Mars?

Little Story of the Three Little Pigs.

Hey Bloggers. This blog post is another activity from the new blog post on the class blog. In here I had to use these words:

Snarled, Growled, Puffed and Huffed.
And then put them into a sentence. I didn't actually do a sentence I did more of a little story.
Here is my work.

Furiously, the wolf quietly snarled at the three cheerful pigs, as he hid in the bushes . He stomped towards the three nature built houses. His mouth started to rumble, he growled at the three frightened pigs. “I’m going to blow down your houses.” He spoke. “How dare you say that.” One of the pigs answered. The wolf shoved through them, pushing them onto the grass. He huffed and puffed, blowing the straw house down.

I only used the straw house because I don't think the wolfs breath could blow down a brick and wood house.
Comment if you think he could. BLOG YA LATER!👍
